The Research Sector holds Scientific Poster Day and Displays Scientific Posters via an Electronic Link (bit.ly/3178v34)

The Research Sector thoroughly works to ensure the continuity of its prominent annual activities and events, and to play its role towards scientific research and researchers at Kuwait University within the framework of commitment to all health and preventive precautions.
In light of the conditions that the country is going through imposed by Coronavirus - Covid 19 pandemic, Research Sector has worked on preparing the scientific posters that were to be displayed on the annual scientific poster day held by the Research Sector in March of each year, collected them in a unified electronic link and posted them on the Sector's website which makes it accessible to researchers and interested parties.
In this context, Vice President for Research, Prof. Rashid Hamad Al-Enezi stated that the Research Sector adheres to the recommendations of the Council of Ministers and the instructions of the health authorities in the country regarding the application of social distancing, reducing gatherings, and Kuwait University's policy of protecting its members.
From this standpoint, the activities of the Scientific Poster Day in its annual form, which were scheduled to be held during March in the Colleges of Education and Engineering and Petroleum, in their new locations in Sabah Al-Salem University City in Al-Shadadiyah have been canceled. The scientific posters participating this year have been prepared to be posted in a unified electronic link (bit. ly / 3178v34) that will be available on the Research Sector’s website on 9/20/2020, so that all researchers and those interested can review the scientific and research achievements of faculty members, assistant teachers and graduate students.
Prof. Al-Enezi confirmed that the winners of the best scientific poster award in the humanitarian and scientific colleges will be announced soon, and they will be honored in the annual ceremony held by the sector at the beginning of each academic year.
Prof. Al-Enezi extended his appreciation to the Colleges of Education and Engineering and Petroleum, as they were to host the activities of this year's Scientific Poster Day, inviting everyone to view the content of the scientific posters and discuss them with researchers through the researcher's e-mail.
