College of Life Sciences was re-established in 2003 under the name “College for Women” with a vision and a mission that aim to prepare graduates with efficiency and skills required to lead the challenge to achieve a better future for the State of Kuwait, and meet the needs of the Kuwaiti labor market with vital and important disciplines in several areas, according to the highest scientific standards that are consistent with the terms of the international academic institutions for accreditation. CLS Mission Establishing a sustainable academic system in the domain of environmental technology management, food nutrition, communication disorders and information systems. Producing graduates committed to lifelong learning while upholding the highest standards of professional ethics and social responsibilities. Developing a collegial environment which creates passion among students to work collaboratively and responsibly for the betterment of humankind. 

Facilities College Of Life Sciences located at the “Sabah Al Salam University City ” is at par with international standards not only for its infrastructure but also for its academic excellence. Our classrooms are equipped with technologies able to streamline the entire classroom experience; student-teacher discussions, presentations, demonstrations, videos, slides, and other material used – with minimal disruption. Outside the classrooms, large open spaces are made available for students to conduct study meetings, work on assignments, or just take a break in between classes. The prayer rooms of our college have all the amenities and the well-maintained ambience provides a calm, clean and neutral environment where prayers can be offered. Access to information is a vital key in developing the individual’s potentiality. COLS has provided a central library that spans books ranging from various areas of knowledges and adequate number of journals. All the latest editions of books both for reference and text are available in this library. We at COLS, believe that a student’s life is not just restricted to studies, and hence we have a playroom that encourages students to involve themselves in recreational activities. The College Canteen is a popular meeting place for our students with various restaurants catering to the college crowd. The ambience of the College canteen reflects the youthfulness of its visitors. State of the art Seminar Halls, Fully Equipped Training centers, and acoustically perfect and visually enthralling Auditorium, A Health center, Copy center and Multifloored parking adds up to make our College a world class institution.
