The College of Pharmacy was established in February 1996.  The College offers a "Doctor of Pharmacy Program (PharmD)" which prepares the pharmacist for the pharmacy profession and practice. Besides that, it is designed to provide the knowledge of the pharmaceutical sciences with the required standards and skills for the graduates to offer advanced pharmaceutical services after graduation. The program aims at graduating pharmacists capable of offering healthcare services, which is patient-focused, in cooperation with their colleagues of health services providers conditioned that they are capable of self-learning and using scientific evidence to support medical recommendations, be responsible health practitioners, and have high moral and professional reputation.
